Calculation conventions
- OTIF: both conditions must hold on the same order. A measured zero stays zero. When overlap is unknown, the feasible range is max(0, on-time + in-full − total) to min(on-time, in-full).
- ABC: sort by period consumption value. An item starts in the class determined by cumulative value before that item, so the item crossing 80% stays A and the item crossing 95% stays B. Ties preserve input order; zero-value items are C. XYZ uses sample standard deviation divided by mean demand; criticality is separate.
- EOQ: compare adjacent feasible pack multiples above the MOQ using annual ordering plus holding cost. Constant demand and unit cost are assumptions; discounts and expiry are not modeled.
- Space: dock and office allocations must total less than 100%. Results are planning estimates, not rack engineering approval.
- Manpower: operating days and the share of extra peak staffing retained are editable. Example productivity rates are not benchmarks.
- Freight: divisors, transit days, flat-trip pricing, minimums and extras come from your quote. Example rates are not live market prices.
- Landed cost: no blanket 1% landing uplift. Recoverable IGST is an explicit assumption, defaulting to zero. Additional duties and complex valuation cases require specialist review.
- Cycle count: expected accuracy of 100% cannot produce a meaningful zero sample; choose a conservative prior or seek statistical advice. The tool does not establish an audit assurance level.

Calculations run in the browser. Save inputs is optional device storage; clear it on shared devices. WhatsApp sharing sends the tool link only. Printed/exported reports contain the values you choose to export.
Correction history
2.0 fixes OTIF zero/unknown overlap, ABC boundaries and actual value shares, feasible EOQ quantities, combined space validation, cycle-count boundaries and landed-cost assumptions. It adds explicit staffing and freight controls, accessible error messages and revised workbooks.
