Use these as controlled working documents

Add your document owner, version, approval date and retention rule before operational use. Adapt each field to the site risk assessment, legal requirements, WMS process and equipment manufacturer instructions.

Do not treat a completed checklist as certification

A checklist records a review. It does not prove engineering fitness, statutory compliance or competent-person approval. Escalate damage, fire, dangerous-goods, electrical and structural concerns to qualified specialists.

Turn a download into a controlled operating record

A blank checklist has little value until the team agrees when it is used, who owns it and what happens when a check fails. Begin with one process and one shift. Remove fields that nobody uses, add the traceable reference required by your system, and define the escalation route before full rollout.

Four checks before release

  1. Definition: each field has one meaning and unit.
  2. Evidence: an entry can be connected to a transaction, photograph, inspection or source document.
  3. Accountability: an exception has an owner, due date and approver.
  4. Retention: the team knows where the controlled version and completed records are kept.

The files are starting points with invented examples. They do not create compliance by themselves; the operating control and verified follow-up provide the value.
